€ 730,100 - Impressive result for the charity auction of Stelios Haji-Ioannou and for «TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN»

Athens, 21st of March 2006 - The charity auction easySale4charity that was organized by Stelios Haji-Ioannou in collaboration with the charity group «TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN», took place yesterday in Athens with impressive result: the total amount raised was €730,100 (162,50% over the lowest estimation and 87% over the highest one). Greek art-lovers, as well as foreigners, responded with great pleasure to the invitation of the well-known businessman and made high bids for the 54 paintings of his private collection, which were at first evaluated for a total amount of € 278,150 - € 390,000. It is worth to mention that the 100% of the proceeds will be offered for the aid of the charity group «TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN».

According to Ms. Terpsichori Aggelopoulou, manager of the conjectural consultants company ART EXPERTISE, that evaluated the paintings, and organized the auction, the 10 most highly bid paintings of the auction, breaking a record, were:

2. Lot 44, Vasiliou «Avli» € 45,000
3. Lot 15, Prekas «Plia» € 42,000
4. Lot 50, Akrithakis «Kardia» € 38,000
5. Lot 54, Koursaris «Easy Jet» € 36,000
6. Lot 52, Tsoklis «Topio me petra» € 35,000
7. Lot 14, Prekas «Tanker» € 30,000
8. Lot 30, Fasianos «Chrisos podilatis» € 30,000
9. Lot 43, Vasiliou «Ergalia tou tzakiou» € 28,000
