Arlett joins easyHotel as CFO

Julian Arlett has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of easyHotel.com. Arlett joins the super-budget hotel company from Ladbrokes plc (formerly Hilton Group plc) where he built an impressive network of contacts in the financial community as Head of Investor Relations.

With a number of major development deals covering the UK, Europe and the Middle East already signed and landmark hotel openings planned for Heathrow and Berlin in 2008, Arlett brings his considerable experience of leading and implementing financial projects to the easyHotel brand.

After completing his degree at Manchester University, Arlett spent over five years in Consumer Markets at KPMG London. Joining Hilton International in 2002, Arlett spent time in a number of finance roles before being promoted to become Head of Investor Relations for Hilton Group plc three years later. Here he was responsible for managing relationships with City analysts, institutional investors and the financial community, at pivotal times, including the £3.2 billion sale of the company’s hotel division, Hilton International, in 2006.
