easyGroup launches easyCinema DVD rental

The easyGroup continues to reduce prices to consumers with the launch of a new service - 'easyCinema DVD rental'. 

This online service at www.easyCinema.com will offer consumers the chance to rent DVDs for as little as £1.99 a time on a pay-as-you-go basis and will allow consumers to keep their DVDs for up to 21 days. Consequently, easyCinema DVD rental will be both about half the price of its high street competitors and will allow its customers to keep their DVDs for about ten times longer.

easyCinema DVD rental will have a stock of 25,000 titles available to rent including the latest new releases, documentaries, world cinema and TV series, offering ten times the selection available on the high street. As an online service easyCinema DVD rental will be open to customers twenty-four hours a day and will also offer free delivery and free return postage.

The easyCinema DVD rental service will be available in the next few weeks on the easyCinema website at www.easyCinema.com. easyCinema is an easyGroup company that offers consumers the chance to go to the cinema at lower prices. Launched in May 2003, easyCinema operates a 10 screen multiplex cinema in Milton Keynes showing a variety of films from first runs and mainstream films to early classics, independent films, art house and niche productions. easyCinema is currently searching for its second site in the south east of England.  With the launch of easyCinema DVD rentals consumers will now have the choice at www.easyCinema.com of buying a seat to go to the movies or renting a movie to watch at home.

The DVD market in the UK is growing fast with an estimated 14.1 million households in the UK owning a DVD player.
